In brief,

  • Strategic Purpose statement and general conditions for programmes were reworded to ensure clarity, and amended where necessary to align with industry requirements
  • Conditions relating to the graduate profile were removed and shifted to a programme guidance document on the MITO website
  • Qualifications have been updated to the latest NZQA template.

The rationale for these changes is to ensure the qualification content is relevant, representative of industry’s needs, and meets the NZQA listing requirements.

Please email all feedback to qualificationcomments@mito.org.nz by 12pm 15 December 2020.

Feedback table DOCX - 37 KB

Following this date, MITO will consider and incorporate feedback into the reviewed qualifications prior to making the NZQA submission.

Once the reviewed qualifications are approved and listed by NZQA, the current version of the qualifications will be set to expiring with a last date for assessment of the 31 December 2023.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to participate in this qualification review.
