MITO launches four new training programmes
MITO is excited to launch four new training programmes!
- New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Electrical Engineering (Level 3 and 4)
- New Zealand Certificate in Light Automotive Engineering (Level 3 and 4)
- New Zealand Certificate in Business (First Line Management) (Level 4)
- StartUp® secondary school programme
Further strengthening the training opportunities in New Zealand's automotive industry, the New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Electrical Engineering (Level 3 and 4) and the New Zealand Certificate in Light Automotive Engineering (Level 3 and 4), include new industry-approved unit standards and incorporate both on-the-job practical learning in the workplace and eLearning - allowing apprentices to complete theory elements in their own time and at their own pace. With access to hundreds of videos and interactive simulations, and theory assessments, eLearning is an exciting feature that can be accessed at any time and from any device – mobile phone, tablet or computer.
MITO is also delighted to launch a revised StartUp® programme for Year 11 to 13 students which offers learning opportunities in the automotive industry, credits towards NCEA Levels 2 and 3 and a great introduction to the working environment. Supported by MITO in partnership with secondary schools and local businesses, StartUp® has both theory eLearning and practical learning in a workshop – it’s just like a mini-apprenticeship!
The fourth programme to be released is the New Zealand Certificate in Business (First Line Management) (Level 4). This programme is designed for current and aspiring managers, supervisors and administrators who would like to progress their knowledge and skills in team management and development. It consists of a mix of workshop, online and on the job training.
Enrolments for all four programmes are now open! Contact MITO today to be first to enrol your new learner.
