Developed with I-CAR NZ and endorsed by the Collision Repair Association, this eLearning programme is designed for those interested in developing the skills and knowledge to repair paintwork on damaged vehicles and make them look as good as new!
The programme includes a mix of workplace practical learning and eLearning which allows you to complete theory elements of the programme in your own time and at your own pace. You can access eLearning resources, including videos, interactive simulations and online theory assessments, at any time and from any device—mobile phone, tablet or computer. Real-time results and progress reports are available through MITO’s online Portal to both you and your supervisor.
PROGRAMME OUTLINE
Choose to complete one or both of the following qualifications:
- New Zealand Certificate in Collision Repair and Automotive Refinishing (Level 3)
- New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Refinishing (Level 4).
The unit standards within this qualification will ensure that you are able to prepare, restore, and finish painted vehicle surfaces. These skills can then be applied to a range of jobs, from repairing damaged paintwork to simply adding some cosmetic enhancement.
