WorldSkills New Zealand Regional Competitions
Applications are now open for the WorldSkills New Zealand Regional Competitions!
Do you have the skills to be the best in the automotive industry? Do you want to test those skills against those of your peers? The WorldSkills New Zealand Regional Competitions is the perfect opportunity for you to challenge yourself and prove your abilities in either the Automobile Technology, Autobody Repair or Automotive Refinishing skill categories. You may even get the chance to showcase your skills on the world stage at the 2019 WorldSkills International Competition in Russia!
Regional competitions are open to competitors of any age - provided you are training in the area of the automotive industry directly related to your skill category.
If you have already completed your training, you may still enter regional competitions, however, you must be 21 years or under as at 31 December 2018.
Note: If a skills category is not available in your region, you may travel to an alternative region to compete in that category.

- Discuss with your employer
- Let your MITO Industry Training Advisor know
- Complete the online application form
