Unit Standard Review - Motor Industry

MITO is currently reviewing unit standards in the Motor Industry subfield as part of our five-year cyclical review.

We invite feedback on the standards noted below to inform the review and to ensure they remain fit for industry requirements.

Consultation drafts are available. Please specify the standard(s) via email to qualificationcomments@mito.org.nz.

Submit your feedback to qualificationcomments@mito.org.nz by 5pm Friday 16 October 2020.

Please use the feedback template available for download below.

If you require additional time, please let us know - qualificationcomments@mito.org.nz.

Unit Standard Feedback Template DOCX - 39 KB

Proposed main changes

  • Purpose statements, guidance information, references, outcomes, performance criteria, and range statements were amended to ensure they are accurate and fit for purpose, reflect the standard content and to ensure clarity for users.
  • Unit standards with little or no use over the past five years (2334, 2336, 15424, 15441, 24191, 24286) were set to expire without replacement as they no longer reflect the learning and assessment needs of industry. These unit standards will expire at the end of December 2022.
