NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR WDC COUNCIL MEMBERS
Industry leaders who want to play a part in establishing the Workforce Development Councils and advocating for industry and employer skill needs, are invited to submit an Expression of Interest to join as a Council member.
MITO’s industries align to the Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council, with the exception of the gas industry which aligns to the Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council.
Each WDC Council will require diverse membership, a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the ability to represent a broad industry coverage. Leaders with significant governance experience, excellent communication and collaboration skills and a commitment to the kaupapa of the WDCs are invited to apply. The first WDC Councils will be dynamic, fast moving and will be expected to make a real impact and provide true leadership as part of the establishment of these new entities.
