In brief,
- Minor changes to evidence requirements for assuring consistency, other requirements for the qualification and general conditions for programmes were amended to align with industry requirements on both qualifications
- Qualifications have been updated to the latest NZQA template
- Graduate Profile Outcomes statements have been revised to ensure they are fit-for-purpose for the Level 4 qualification
- Reduced credit count on the Level 4 qualification relative to the time it takes to obtain the qualifications graduate profile outcomes.
The rationale for these changes is to ensure the qualification content is relevant, representative of industry’s needs, and meets the NZQA listing requirements.
Please email all feedback to qualificationcomments@mito.org.nz by 12pm 2 December 2019.
Following this date, MITO will consider and incorporate feedback into the reviewed qualifications prior to making the NZQA submission.
Once the reviewed qualifications are approved and listed by NZQA, the current version of the qualifications will be set to expiring with a last date for assessment of the 31 December 2022.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to participate in this qualification review.
