In brief,
- Strategic Purpose statement, Graduate Profile Outcome statements, Education Pathway, employment, cultural and community pathway, qualification award were reworded to ensure clarity
- Evidence requirements for assuring consistency and general conditions for programmes were amended to align with industry requirements
- Conditions relating to the graduate profile were removed and shifted to a programme guidance document on the MITO website
- Qualifications have been updated to the latest NZQA template.
The rationale for these changes is to ensure the qualification content is relevant, representative of industry’s needs, and meets the NZQA listing requirements.
Please email all feedback to qualificationcomments@mito.org.nz by 12pm 17 December 2019.
Following this date, MITO will consider and incorporate feedback into the reviewed qualifications prior to making the NZQA submission.
Once the reviewed qualifications are approved and listed by NZQA, the current version of the qualifications will be set to expiring with a last date for assessment of the 31 December 2022.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to participate in this qualification review.
