Enrolments now open for MITO’s Automotive Heavy Engineering Road Transport programme

MITO is pleased to announce that the new training programme that leads to the New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (Level 3 and 4) with strand in Road Transport is now open for enrolments. This programme is designed for those interested in the overall servicing and repair of all aspects of heavy road transport vehicles, including trucks, buses, heavy trailers and combination units.

Together with new unit standards, the programme features a mix of workplace practical learning and eLearning, meaning apprentices can complete theory elements of the programme in their own time and at their own pace. Real-time results and progress reports are also available to both apprentice and supervisor through MITO’s online portal. Plus, exciting online learning resources including videos, interactive simulations and online theory assessments, can be easily accessed at any time and from any device – mobile phone, tablet or computer.

The Level 4 programme will also include strands in: Plant and Equipment; Agricultural Equipment; and Materials Handling Equipment - to be released mid-2018.
