This programme applies to people from all industries where health and safety training and competence are required to provide safe working conditions.
PROGRAMME OUTLINE

The compulsory Health and Safety Practice section covers health and safety skills and knowledge required by all industries.
Elective sections allow learners to choose unit standards related to a range of industry-specific workplace health and safety issues. These may include (but are not limited to):
- Hazard identification and risk assessment
- Hazardous substances
- Confined spaces
- Emergency response.
