MITO’s Sales training programme leads to a National Certificate in Sales (Level 3) - a nationally recognised qualification for people in sales positions. It provides a career pathway for people new to, or already experienced in, sales at an automotive or related workplace. With MITO’s on-the-job training programme you’ll have your sales expertise formally recognised with a national qualification, learn new skills and knowledge directly relevant to your workplace and enhance your long-term prospects, leading to a rewarding career with excellent earning potential.

PROGRAMME OUTLINE

Your specific programme will relate to the type of sales you do. MITO Sales programmes of choice include:

  • Vehicle Sales
  • Parts and Accessories Sales
  • Sales Manager (for managers who want to achieve the Level 3 qualification and coach their staff to achieve it as well).

The programme comprises a mix of learning with three, two day workshops that cover how to be a successful salesperson:

  • The World of Sales
  • The Salesperson
  • The Business of Sales

You’ll complete practical assessments in your workplace following the workshops. These practical assessments are designed to help you apply what you are learning at the workshops to your own work. You will also complete elective unit standards relating to the area you wish to specialise in: Vehicle Sales; Parts and Accessories Sales; or Sales Manager.

Support and help is provided by your MITO Industry Training Advisor, specialist trainers and workplace supervisors.
