Parts and Accessories Sales

Marlborough Motorcycles

We are looking for a talented parts person with experience preferably gained from the automotive/motorcycle area.

This role is all about multi-tasking, a service role to internal and customers off the street. We are a very busy motorcycle shop and carry Canam, Kawasaki, motorcycles quads, side by sides and Moto Trials motorcycles.

The client base is very large and caters to farm, vineyard, off road and on road clients.

Spare parts is the nerve centre of this company - orders come into the team from face to face customers, email, and on the phone. Parts interpreting skills will really be a strength. By asking customers lots of questions you'll be able to identify which particular part they need and when all else fails -getting them to take photos of the item and emailing you so that you'll be able to help them!

The person we require must be highly organised, excellent communicator who will follow processes and won't get rattled when things get busy, so if you feel you meet the brief - why not apply online with your CV and covering letter and let's start talking!

The applicant will need to have the following to succeed in this business:

  • Good knowledge of motorcycles/and or motor vehicles in general
  • Good computer skills (Sam/Orion ideal)
  • Good phone manner
  • Experience in the automotive parts industry would be an advantage
  • Able to show good skills in developing new sales leads
  • Able to help grow current product sales
  • Able to communicate well with customers
  • Must have full driver licence
  • Must have NZ residency
  • Must be able to work rostered Saturdays.

To apply for this role you'll need an energetic, positive and proactive approach to your work. You will be part of a small team, which involves being proactive - looking for ways to help other team members and management at all times.

For the right person assistance with moving to this wonderful part of New Zealand will be provided.

This job listing will expire on 28 September 2018
