The role

We are looking for another experienced heavy diesel mechanic to join our friendly team on the permanent evening shift. This shift concentrates on repairs and maintenance on various plant ranging from trucks, loaders, graders and rollers, down to small plant such as plate compactors and pumps.

The candidate

To be successful you will:

  • Be able to work a permanent evening shift (1:30pm – 12:00am)
  • Have a strong commitment to health and safety
  • Possess extensive knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Have previous experience in servicing and repairing heavy plant and contracting equipment
  • Be proactive in your approach to plant maintenance
  • Have the ability to work to a high standard under minimal supervision
  • Hold the appropriate licences for heavy trucks, construction equipment and forklifts
  • Have a positive attitude with the ability to work in a team environment.
